Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how BD Waterproofing (operated by Renobu Pte Ltd, UEN 201722242Z, hereafter "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects the personal data you share with us. It is written to comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

When you submit the quote form or contact us directly, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address (if provided)
  • Any message, project details, or photos you choose to send
  • Technical metadata: a hashed version of your IP address, your browser/user agent, and the page you submitted from (used for spam protection and abuse triage)

Why we collect it

We use your personal data only for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
  • To schedule site visits, follow up on jobs, and communicate about the works we carry out for you
  • To keep an internal record of customer communications for service-quality and legal purposes
  • To detect and prevent form spam and abuse

We do not send you marketing messages unless you've given us consent to do so.

Who can see it

Your data is accessed by the Renobu Pte Ltd team responsible for handling your enquiry or job. We use the following service providers to store and process the data on our behalf:

  • Supabase (database + authentication) — stores lead and customer records
  • Resend (email delivery) — sends us notifications when you submit a quote request
  • Vercel (web hosting) — serves this website and processes form submissions

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We retain customer records for as long as is reasonably required to service active and recent jobs, and for up to 7 years after our last engagement to meet Singapore tax and business-record obligations. After that period we delete or anonymise the data.

Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Withdraw consent for us to continue using your data
  • Request deletion where we're not required to retain it by law

Security

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with access limited to authorised team members. We use strong passwords, HTTPS for all web traffic, and hash client IP addresses before storing them. No internet service is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable, industry-standard protections.
